Ability to follow up on all assignments and finish to completion
Ability to develop and maintain record keeping systems and procedures
Knowledge of local, state, federal and other regulations; knowledge of regulations and legal requirements governing the industry
Able to effectively schedule staff members
Works in an organized and efficient manner and demonstrates excellent problem solving skills
Ability to prepare financial, drug inventory, workload and other pertinent reports as needed
Ability to make day to day operation decisions to support the mission and function of the organization
Ability to collaborate with other members of the management team to achieve Company goals
Knowledge of pharmacy reimbursement: state, federal and commercial
Ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures
Supervision of pharmacy technicians, customer service representatives and ancillary staff
Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing and scheduling work assignments
Skilled in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures; developing and implementing new strategies and procedures (performance improvement) including best practices
Other tasks as assigned by Management
Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA
As a salaried employee the expectation is you set the example of punctuality and attendance.
Salaried schedule can fluctuate due workflow needs expectation business needs are meet prior to leaving each day.
Manages all aspects of operation in his/her respective area of oversight.
Reports directly to the Support Services Manager or designee.
Show initiative and take an enthusiastic proactive approach to work
Exhibit sense of urgency
Excellent communication skills
Operational aspects include scheduling, issuing discipline & performance improvement initiatives, and overall workflow management.
Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record which meets Company standards if required to drive.
Works independently; demonstrates leadership skills
Ability to complete tasks in a timely and thorough Manner
3 years of related experience
5-8 years of Pharmacy experience
Certified Pharmacy Technician
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Physical Requirements: Employee must be able to stand, walk, sit, and reach outward on a frequent basis. The employee must be able to reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, squat, kneel and bend. The employee must be able to frequently push/pull up to 15 lbs. and occasionally push/pull up to 50 lbs. The employee must be able to lift/carry up to 15 lbs frequently and up to 35 lbs occasionally. Specific vision requirements and abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus. Up to an 8 hour day.
Work Environment- Work in a climate controlled, smoke-free internal environment
