Hours Full-time, indicate working hours - 40 hrs a week
Summary of Position
Provide information to students about all of the programs: capable of making discretionary and tactful decisions and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision; prepare distribution on time; use office equipment daily; maintain and ensure all materials are available for faculty; maintain confidentiality of faculty and students, perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Required Education
A high school diploma or GED and (1) of the following are required
Minimum Required Experience
• Three years of clerical/secretarial experience with a high school diploma or GED, or • Certification/Successful completion of a relevant trade school from a US nationally or regionally accredited institution of higher education and six months wage earning clerical experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Must have a thorough working knowledge, skill and ability with computers, email, and internet. • Must be adept with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Ability to work with alpha/numeric filing systems. • Take responsibility and initiative over projects, completing and finishing them with minimal supervision. • Demonstrate data entry and word processing skills with a high degree of accuracy. • Demonstrate excellent listening, verbal, and written skills. • Excellent customer service skills and effective interaction with the faculty, staff, students, and the general public. • Demonstrate attention to detail, task oriented, work in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all student and faculty information. • Ability to meet deadlines. • Typing speed of 35 wpm.
