Mission Hospital Certified Nurse Assistant - Rehab in Mission, Texas

Provide quality nursing care to patients; implement specific procedures and programs coordinate work within the department, as well as with other departments; report pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; respond to inquiries or requests for information; assist the immediate supervisor with tasks to support department operations.

Work Experience: Resource Pool requires 2 years of clinical experience.

Knowledge, skills, and Abilities Required: Demonstrated positive interpersonal skills. Verbal and written skills required. Demonstrated effective organizational, teaching and leadership skills. Is knowledgeable of the age specific physiological, psychosocial, developmental and spiritual needs of the patients typically served. Must have command of the English language and possess visual and auditory acuity for accurate data collection.

Physical Requirements: work requires long periods of standing, walking or sitting and occasional assistance with heavy lifting. May be required to work variable shifts on occasion. Position may involve skin, eye, mucous membrane, or parenteral contact with blood or other potentially infectious material.
